Convert DOC files to clean, print-ready PDF documents.
We’d Love Your Feedback! 🌟
DOC is the legacy Microsoft Word format (pre-2007). Converting to PDF freezes the layout forever — fonts, spacing, images, and page breaks are locked in, so the file looks identical on every device.
DOC is the older Microsoft Word binary format (used by Word 97-2003). It's still common in archives and legacy workflows. Converting to PDF makes the document universally readable and locks the layout — no more surprises when the recipient opens it in a different Word version, on a phone, or in Google Docs. PDF also makes the document tamper-evident and easy to print consistently.
| Input format | DOC (Word 97-2003) |
| Output format | PDF 1.7 |
| Formatting | Fully preserved (fonts, images, layout) |
| Fonts | Embedded or metric-substituted |
| Engine | LibreOffice headless |
| Max file size | 50 MB per file |
| File retention | Auto-deleted after conversion |
| Batch conversion | Not supported (single file) |
The converter reads the DOC binary structure and renders each page using LibreOffice's headless engine. Fonts are embedded in the PDF (or substituted with metric-compatible equivalents), and layout is preserved to the pixel. Output is a standard PDF 1.7 file compatible with every reader.
DOC → PDF conversion is designed to be layout-preserving. The PDF looks pixel-identical to how Word renders the document. Very old DOC files (Word 95 or earlier) may have minor font-substitution issues.
