Convert ODT files to clean, print-ready PDF documents.
We’d Love Your Feedback! 🌟
ODT is the OpenDocument text format used by LibreOffice Writer and Apache OpenOffice. It's an ISO standard (ISO/IEC 26300) and the default format for many Linux and government workflows.
ODT is the standard format for LibreOffice and OpenOffice, and it's widely used in government, education, and Linux environments. Converting to PDF makes the document universally readable — recipients don't need LibreOffice installed, and the layout is locked forever.
| Input format | ODT (OpenDocument Text) |
| Output format | PDF 1.7 |
| Formatting | Fully preserved |
| Engine | LibreOffice headless (native ODT support) |
| Fonts | Embedded or metric-substituted |
| Max file size | 50 MB per file |
| File retention | Auto-deleted after conversion |
The converter reads the ODT XML structure and renders each page using LibreOffice's headless engine — the same engine that created the file, so fidelity is perfect. Fonts are embedded, images preserved, and layout locked. Output is PDF 1.7.
ODT → PDF conversion is essentially pixel-perfect because the conversion engine (LibreOffice) is the same application that created the ODT. Fidelity is higher than DOCX → PDF.
