Automatically compress any AVIF image to 50KB or less.

50 KB is very tight for AVIF — but AVIF's efficiency means a 50 KB AVIF looks like a 70-100 KB JPG. Best for thumbnails, small web images, and forms with strict caps.
50 KB is a common cap for thumbnails, social previews, and some form uploads. AVIF's AV1 codec is so efficient that a 50 KB AVIF is visually equivalent to a 70-100 KB JPG — so meeting the 50 KB target still produces a good-looking result. Our tool iterates quality until the output is 50 KB or under.

The compressor decodes the AVIF image and re-encodes it using libavif at progressively lower quality settings until the output is 50 KB or under. AV1 encoding is CPU-intensive (3-5 seconds per image). At 50 KB, an AVIF is typically 400-700px wide with quality 50-70%.
